About Us!

TheatreKidz Rowley are a local theatre group for children aged 6-18. We aim to teach basic skills in drama, singing and dance/movement, together with helping to build confidence and social skills. 

TheatreKidz Rowley is currently split into two groups, Years 1-8 and Year 9 and over. Both groups meet each Saturday morning during term time, from 9.30-11, however our Teenz group continues until 11.30. Sessions cost just £24 a month for the younger group and £28 a month for the older group, which is payable on the first Saturday of each month. (There are no fees paid in August since we do not meet over the summer.)

TheatreKidz aim to stage at least two main productions per year; one in June/July and another in January/February. These may be in the form of a concert or show/pantomime. Our next production is A Disney Adventure, being staged on Sunday 1st February 2026.

Our Teenz group perform in March and October, and the next Teenz production is There She Goes, which will be performed on Sunday 22nd March 2026.

As a member of TheatreKidz Rowley and TheatreTeenz, the children will have opportunities to develop performance skills, develop new friendships, and most importantly, will become a part of our TheatreKidz family. They will have the chance to take part in performances at local venues. They will receive a certificate at the end of each performance and a gift on their birthday each year.
